Dora Paulette Scroggin

Dora Paulette (Polly) Scroggin, age 75, of Bloomington was called home on March 12, 2025. She was born February 26, 1950, to Orville and Louella Mae Denning Scroggin.
She retired from and was lovingly supported by Stone Belt in Bloomington where she established fellowship with her peers and created beautiful artwork over many years. Dora was also a member of Best Buddies of IU which impacted the quality of her social life in such a meaningful way- introducing her to many friends; a few of whom became her family.
Dora is survived by her brother Fred (Sonny) Scroggin, nieces and nephews and her best friends Rose Fitzpatrick, Kim Cox, Ellie Baker, Kenzie Crouse and Avery Hensley.
On her behalf, we wish to thank Stone Belt's supported living program, Best Buddies, Hearthstone Health Campus and Heart to Heart Hospice for all their love and support throughout Dora's lifetime.
A visitation will be held at 1:00 on Wednesday March 26, 2025 at the Valhalla Memory Gardens Chapel in Bloomington with a graveside service to follow at 2:00.
