Dorcia J Storey

With love and gratitude, we remember Dorcia Jacob Storey, who peacefully passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 78. Born on April 20, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Dorcia was a God fearing woman who lived a life filled with warmth, kindness, and devotion to her family.
Dorcia was preceded in death by her loving husband, Raymond Storey; her parents, Calvin Jacob and Virginia Jacob. She is survived by her cherished daughters Tawny Queen, Seleana Labaw, and Amber Storey; her son in law Stephen Labaw; her beloved grandchildren Victoria Nicholson, Conner Winsett, Raelene Storey, and RJ Glaser; and her brothers Samuel and Calvin Jacob.
Each of them was blessed by Dorcia's guidance, support, and unconditional love. Above all, they will remember her as a woman of deep faith, whose love for God guided every aspect of her life. Her legacy of prayer, compassion, and devotion will continue to inspire and uplift them, and they will carry her memory and the lessons she taught them about the love of God with them forever. Through her example, she showed them the power of trusting in God's plan and the importance of seeking His guidance in all things, leaving a lasting impact that will continue to shape their lives.
Dorcia's life was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and generosity. Her legacy will live on through the countless memories and stories shared among family and friends. A celebration of her life will be held, where we'll come together to honor her memory and share in the joy of her life.
Dorcia will be cremated under the care of Forest Meadows Funeral Home and Cemetery. Though she may be gone, her love, wisdom, and spirit will forever be etched in our hearts.
