Doreen Evans Obituary
Doreen Evans, 69, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away Friday, October 3, 2025, at her home. Celebration of Life: 1:30 Friday, October 10, 2025, at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Cedar Rapids. A livestream of the Celebration of Life service may be accessed on the funeral home website tribute page for Doreen, under “videos,” starting at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, October 10, 2025.
The family will host a potluck reception from from 1 - 4 p.m. Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Palo United Methodist Church, 118 Clinton Street, Palo, Iowa 52324.
Doreen was born December 6, 1955, in Cedar Rapids, the daughter of Ralph Davis Sr. and Odessa (Jones) Davis. She loved her Diet Dr. Pepper, her friends, her dog, Casey and most of all, her family. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
Survivors include her children, Robert S. (Lindsey) Evans, Sherri Bleakley (Bobby Peil), Bobbie Jo Evans (Tim Hill), and Brenda (Troy) Walton; former spouse, Robert Evans; grandchildren, Kristiann (Cameron) Blackwolf, Jessica McDanniel, Kayla (Antonio) DeJesus, Austin McDanniel, Chloe Snider, Maddison, Maverick, and Mason Evans; great-grandchildren, Kaysen, Kingsten, and Hudson and one more on the way; and siblings, Ralph Davis Jr., and Peggy Davis.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Sheral Irons, and Terry Ridley.
Memorials may be directed to the family.
