Doretha (Drilla) Johnson Lewis, age 89, of River Road, Conway, S.C., entered into eternal life on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, after a period of declining health.

She was born in Conway, S.C., the daughter of the late Lonnie and Lillie Rabon Johnson. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. A lifelong member of the Eastern Star, she loved to cook and spend hours strolling and shopping at Walmart. Along with her late husband, Henry Ford Lewis, she owned and operated the 501 Mini Mart, Hwy 501, Conway, S.C., for many years.

She is survived by three sons, Henry Brooks Lewis of Loris, Fonzie Lewis, and Kelvin Ford Lewis, both of Conway; one daughter, Annette J. Lewis of Conway; grandchildren, Andy Lewis(Heather), Amanda JoJo Lewis, Tiffy Taylor(Johnny), Jennifer Jordan, and Jeremy Jordan; great-grandchildren, Bailey, Drew(Kensley), Riley Bell(Jordan), Lani, Lexi, Lillie, Arlea, J.T., Kasey and Luke, and several great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Dennis Michael Lewis, a daughter, Lila Pearl Lewis, a sister, Marie Martin Johnson, and daughters-in-law, Joan and Regenia Lewis.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, November 30, 2025, in the chapel of Lewis Crematory and Funeral Services. Officiating will be Pastor Mack Hutson. Burial will follow at the Bayboro Baptist Church Cemetery, 3901 Green Sea Rd., Aynor, S.C.
