Just as no man has power over the spirit or can restrain the spirit, so no one has power over the day of death. Just as no one is discharged during a war, so wickedness will not allow those who practice it to escape. All of this I have seen, and I applied my heart to every work that has been done under the sun, during the time that man has dominated man to his harm. (Ecclesiastes 8:8,9). Dorian is missed by family and friends and prayers continue to pour out for his family may you all have peace.

Ms. Leigh you are sorely missed. I'm glad I have hundreds of vintage magazines so I can see you in my mind. You were one of the original Super Models before the term was coined in the 80s. The models today have nothing on you Girl. Rest in Peace. God Bless. - A big fan - GG

MAY YOUR MEMORY BE ETERNAL!

I first learned of Dorian Leigh by reading her book, "The Girl Who Had Everything." I was blessed by her insight and hard-earned wisdom of what really matters in life, loving God and loving others. Please know you will be in my prayers.

Dorian Leigh was an icon in the modeling world. Most models and enterpeuners can hope to have the career she had. She will be missed and always remember.

Sorry for your loss, I hope that you may fine comfort in my words.

My condolences to you and your family. I am very moved by this news - I did not know Dorian or any of her family, but my mother always told me that I am named after her (I was born in 1952) and I am proud to be the namesake of such a high spirited and accomplished woman. My prayers are with you. Sincerely.

I remember your beautiful mother, I wanted to be her and started in that direction until marriage. She was one of a kind!

I have her original Revlon ads. shot by Richard Avedon in the late 1940s. They are super glamorous. Her and her late sister, Suzy Parker, were the most beautiful supermodels of the 1940s and 1950s!

Dorian helped to make my 30th birthday very special in Paris. She arranged for a very special birthday dinner for myself, Sally Hyland and all of us girls. She was a special lady. I will always remember that time 11 years ago. Thanks for the memories. May Dorian's family and friends be surrounded by many wonderful memories at this most difficult time.

My condolences to the family. Wow! What a life! What a grand lady! Even though I am too young to remember Revlon's Fire and Ice campaign of the '50's, I bet she was great! I aspire to be as great as she.

I always respected the Revlon name and its products.

MY mother always told me about the most beautiful model of her era, the fabulous Dorian Leigh! She was so impressed with her ''aura'' that she named my sister Dorian when she was born in 1964!

We met when I was in the United States Marine Corps. I believe it was in 1956 in Washington D.C. and I was stationed in Quantico, Va. Her beauty overcame me as she saw me with my mouth actually open. She smiled and I said "Yes, you are that beautiful" We talked for a good hour. Mostly about me. She never gave me time to ask who she was as I wasn't aware or knew any models. I met her a few times after that as we admired one another and she was always a wonderful woman. Thats what I would tell her. She is a woman as to me that was and still is the "Ultimate" I would say God Bless you MS Leigh but I believe the good Lord has done that.
What a beautiful woman. Reminds me of the song "Ole Sole Mio.
