Doris Barnett, a loving sister, devoted mother, and proud grandma passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026 at the age of 73. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Doris is survived by her daughter, Corina Mabe, and her husband, Tim; her granddaughter, Megan Zolnai, and her husband, Vance; and her two sisters, Jean Reyes and Dorothy Stovall, and her husband, Ronnie. She is preceded in death by her mother, Maria Barnett; father, Dearwood Barnett; and her brother, Dearwood Barnett, Jr.
She was born in September 1952 in Hagatna, Guam to Dearwood and Maria Barnett. Her family later moved to Dallas, Texas where she lived until the early 2000s when she moved to Quinlan, Texas. Doris worked as a data entry operator until she retired and spent the remainder of her days enjoying the country life and spending time with her family.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm on Thursday, January 22, 2026 at Quinlan Funeral Home.
Doris’ strength, love, determination, and courage will always be remembered.
