Doris Bashrum Obituary

The family requests that visitation be on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 9:00-11:00 am at Gallagher Funeral Home. Services will be at 11:00 am at Gallagher Funeral Home with Brother Haley Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers honored to serve are Brian Hunt, Andrew Hunt, Ethan Hunt, Cab Bashrum, Seth Smith, and Dennis Sanders.
Doris is preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Bashrum; stepdaughter, Shirley Ann Fuson; and step grandson, Eugene Bashrum.
Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Sara Hunt (Brian) and Janice Hebert (Steven); five grandchildren, Andrew Hunt, Ethan Hunt, Allie Hunt, Elizabeth Hunt, and Julianne Hunt; stepson, Gene Bashrum (Janice); step granddaughters, Shelly Morris and Stephanie Hollingsworth (Gary); and sister-in-law, Catherine Bashrum.
Doris was a longtime member of New Life Church of Colfax. She loved her church and pastor. She was always doing things for others whether it be baking her famous tea cakes and coconut cakes or organizing bible studies at her apartment complex. She was a devoted Christian and wonderful friend to all who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
