Doris “Jean” Bellm, 92, of Highland, IL passed away on Monday, July 21, 2025, at St. Joseph Hospital in Breese, IL, with her family by her side.
She was born on June 12, 1933, in St. Louis, MO, to Keith and Mary (nee Lumos) Snelson. On July 23, 1951, she married Harold Bellm in Highland, IL.
Jean was a member of Hope Lutheran Church and a life member of Eastern Star. She was a co-founder of Bellm Floor Covering & Interiors with her husband and worked there for 45 years. She travelled to Hawaii, England and Mexico. She loved camping with friends. Jean loved her family, especially her grandchildren and her fur baby, Jazzy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Keith & Mary Snelson; husband, Harold Bellm; son in law, Lloyd Morgan.
Jean is survived by her daughters, Pamela Bellm Morgan, Highland, IL, Debra (David) Barth, Highland, IL; grandchildren, Michael D. Barth, Jennifer R. Barth, Eric C. (Emily) Morgan; great grandchildren, Owen L. Morgan, Alys Q. Morgan; Nieces, Mary (Jim) Allen, Dotte Jean Bellm, Sandy Bellm, Carla (Dean) Haukap.
Memorial donations may be made to American Diabetes Association or American Cancer Society.
