Doris Ann Butler, a beloved matriarch, was born on December 24, 1945, in Bowling Green, Kentucky. She departed from this world on February 24, 2025, in Clarksville, Tennessee, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Rueben and Lillian Miller; her husband, Darrell Butler Sr.; her brother, Robert Miller; and her son, Russell Moore. These loved ones will surely greet her with open arms as she journeys to a place of peace.
Known for her vibrant personality, Doris was a true fan of Elvis Presley, and her passion for his music was a reflection of her spirited nature. She found joy in spending time with her family, often engaging in friendly card games and indulging in word searches. Doris had an affection for her teddy bears, which symbolized her nurturing spirit and her love for the simple joys in life.
Doris is survived by her siblings, Ronald Miller, Stevie Miller, Dennis Miller, and Connie Miller, who will miss her dearly. She is also survived by her children: Katie Christian, Stuart Butler (Gennie), LuAnn Castro, Randy Moore, and Darrell Butler Jr. (Anna). Her large family of 13 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren serves as a testament to the love and warmth she cultivated throughout her life.
The community is invited to celebrate Doris's life at Cone Funeral Home in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Visitation will be held on March 7, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:30 PM, followed by a Funeral Service from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. Doris will then be laid to rest at Fairview Cemetery, where her burial is scheduled for 3:00 PM.
Doris Ann Butler will be remembered for her loving spirit and the many lives she touched. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
