Doris Coffman

Doris Ann Williams Coffman, 90, Topeka, Kansas, passed away Thursday, October 17, 2024.
Doris was born March 17, 1934, in Topeka to Roy and Lavinia Jones Williams. On September 29, 1962, Doris and Claude Coffman were united in marriage, enjoying 59 years together prior to his death in 2021.
Doris worked in the banking business for more than 15 years with Merchants National Bank in Topeka and in 1963 worked in Hawaii for two years at Bank of Hawaii where Claude was stationed. She loved Hawaii! In later years, she worked at Columbia Savings as a loan officer. For many years Doris and Claude had a small business running estate sales. In retirement Doris enjoyed planting flowers and working in her yard to make it beautiful. She also enjoyed oil painting, crocheting and reading.
Grateful to have shared Doris' life, and whom she cared for and raised as her own, are Tom Coffman (Melanie) and Karen Konrade (David). Doris was also preceded in death by her brother, Jack Williams.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 22, at Kevin Brennan Family Funeral Home, 2801 SW Urish Road, Topeka KS 66614. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Mission Center Cemetery.
