Doris Cofone

Doris Cofone, 83 Years, of Middletown, NJ, passed away at home surrounded by her family on August 14, 2025. She was born in Red Bank, and lived in Middletown most of her life. Doris worked as a Manager for General Motors for many years before staying home to raise her sons. She became very involved in her son Christian's competitive swimming endeavors, including becoming a certified swim official. She also attended Marc's football games. She later went back to work managing various dental offices. Doris also owned and help operate with her husband Salvatore, Marchris Country Deli on Tindall Rd., in Middletown.

Surviving are her son, Marc (Jennifer) Cofone; two granddaughters, Katherine Cofone, Gianna Cofone, grandson, Nicholas Cofone, and godson, Matthew (Kristen) Cofone, and their three children.

Doris was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Doris Whitmore; husband, Salvatore Cofone; son, Christian J. Cofone, and sister Carolyn Crimmins.

The family would like to thank Doris's caregivers, Cathy Tucci and Elaine McFaulds for their devotion and exceptional care.
