Doris Ann Cole

Doris Ann Cole, 83, a resident of Grayslake, IL, passed away on December 18, 2025, at her home. She was born September 27, 1942, in Shelby, OH, to Beryle (nee: Krofta) and Leroy Huston.

Doris was a devoted wife and best friend to her husband, Lloyd Cole, who preceded her in death, and together they created a home filled with warmth and joy. She was a loving mother who dedicated her life to her children, teaching them the values of kindness, integrity, and compassion. She had a gentle spirit and a generous heart, facing life's challenges with grace and dignity. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten, and although she is gone, her love remains with us always.

Doris is survived by her children Dawn Noonan of Grayslake, IL and Lloyd (Susan) Cole of Genoa City, WI, her grandchildren Tiffarah (Ryan) Langerman of Sioux City, IA, Catherine Kranz of Thornton, CO, Kristen Kranz of Sioux City, IA, Payton Cole of Grapevine, TX, Cheyenne Cole of Genoa City, WI, Landon Cole of Genoa City, WI, her 3 great-grandchildren, and her 2 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Lloyd M. Cole, and her brother Leroy Kenneth Huston of Shiloh, OH.
