Doris Durrant Cullen passed away September 18, 2025. She was born April 30, 1936 in Park City, Utah to Richard William Durrant and Afton Carter Durrant. She grew up on a dairy farm in Snyderville, just outside of Park City. She attended school all 12 years in Park City, and graduated from Park City High School, with honors in 1954. She attended Brigham Young University and then returned home to help her family when her mother became ill. She soon took a job doing geological drafting for United Park City Mines Company. She enjoyed the occupation for many years while working for various companies in Salt Lake City and one in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Doris married Robert A. Cullen in June of 1958 and they moved to Salt Lake City where he attended the University of Utah and she worked for Kennecott Copper Corporation. After his graduation they moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he worked while she went to and graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with a degree in Elementary Education. Doris taught school there until their move back to Salt Lake, where she returned to work in drafting, this time with Mountain Fuel Supply. The next job came in 1974, teaching school in Lima, Peru. After two years, the family returned to Salt Lake. Later on, she worked as Drafting Supervisor for Earth Science Laboratory. A move to Butte, Montana came in 1986, where she served as Relief Society President for over 4 years in the Butte 2nd Ward. In the year 2000, they returned to their home in Salt Lake, where they enjoyed their retirement.

Doris is survived by her son, John Michael (Marilyn), daughter Jeanne Stedman, granddaughters Nicole May and Alyssa Cullen, sister Joan Frederickson, all from Salt Lake City. She was preceded in death by husband Robert A. Cullen, son Terry R. Cullen and parents Richard W. Durrant and Afton Carter Durrant, brothers William Junior, Dale and Blaine, and sisters Verla Simpson, Louise Judd, and Karan Miles.

Services will be held at the LDS chapel, located at 6350 S. Rodeo Lane, Murray. UT on Saturday, September 27, 2025. Viewing will be at 10:00 am, Funeral at 11:00 am.
