Doris Ann DeFalco

DeFalco Doris Ann (nee Derenzo) Passed away on July 27, 2025 at age 83 after a long illness. Her husband of 51 years, Anthony DeFalco, passed away in 2021. She is survived by her three children, Julie Rowe (Clifton) of Sharon, MA, Andrew DeFalco, of Philadelphia, and Lauren Pennington (Nicholas), of Villanova, PA, and seven grandchildren. Doris was born to Dr. Aurelio George and Flora Derenzo on August 12, 1941 and grew up at 1827 South Broad Street. She attended Notre Dame Academy in its former location on Rittenhouse Square through high school. She is a 1963 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where she also received her Master of Science in Education in 1968. Relatives and friends are invited to visit the family Wednesday, August 6th, 2025 from 6 P.M. - 8 P.M. at the DONOHUE FUNERAL HOME, 366 W. Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, PA (610-989-9600), and on Thursday, August 7th at the Funeral Mass at St. Katherine of Siena Church, 104 S. Aberdeen Avenue, Wayne, PA at 11:00 A.M. Her ashes will be interred with her husband Anthony at Arlington National Cemetery.
