Doris Ann Easterday

Doris Ann Easterday, 57, of Wabash, Indiana, died at 12:24 a.m., Monday, September 13, 2010, at her home. She was born April 2, 1953 in Boone Camp, Kentucky, to Fred and Margaret (Gross) Reed. She married James E. Easterday in Wabash, on September 15, 1984. She worked at Harvey Industries in Wabash 18 years. She was affiliated with Shiloh Chapel Church in Akron, Indiana. Doris enjoyed playing BINGO, her grandkids, and her work. She is survived by her husband, James E. Easterday and her daughter, Carrie Margaret (John) Whitt, both of Wabash, her son, James Easterday of Sebring, Florida; seven grandchildren, R J. Ruppert and John Whitt, both of Wabash, Houston Meek, Jr. of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Carson Sudlow and Madison Sudlow, both of Warsaw, Indiana, Ashley Heath of Wabash, and Andrew J. Easterday of Sebring; six brothers and three sisters also survive in Kentucky. She was preceded in death by daughter, Peggy Sue Meek, and her stepdaughter, Michelle Easterday. Funeral services will be held at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash, on Friday, September 17, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastors Charlie Easterday and Tim Prater officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawns Cemetery, Wabash. Friends may call 4-8:00 p.m., Thursday, at the funeral home. Preferred memorial is Shiloh Chapel Youth Fund.
