Doris J. Eichelberger

Every day in class. Mrs. Eichelberger was possibly the best teacher I ever had at West. I will remember her forever.

It is so sad to hear of Mrs. Eichelberger's passing. I had her for a Social Studies teacher twice at West. She was a wonderful teacher and had a remarkably dry sense of humor that would go over most people's heads. I ran in to her at a Christmas party about 5 years ago when I was in my late 40's and I still called her Mrs. Eichelberger, as she commandeered a great deal of respect. I will never forget her as she made high school tolerable. Cheers! to all of us who knew her and all her former students. She will be missed.
