Doris T. (Armentano) Ennis, 94, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 9th, 2026, in her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Hartford, CT to Frank and Theresa (LaDone) Sinsigalli, Doris leaves behind her children, Michael Armentano and his wife Sandra, Steven Armentano, and Michelle Armentano, granddaughters Michelle Ulitsch and Sarah Sylvia, niece Janet Marshall "the sister she never had" and her husband Donald Marshall, many nieces, nephews and cousins, cherished friends, and dear friend Stewart Sylvia who was like a son to her. Doris was predeceased by her husband Joseph Armentano in 1965 and her husband John Ennis in 2003. Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 20th at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home, 219 W. Center Street in Manchester from 9-11 a.m. with a funeral home service immediately following. Burial will be held at Mount St. Benedict in Bloomfield. There is a huge hole in my heart and there will be for a long time! Doris is my second cousin! She was the sweetest lady I've ever known! As crazy as this sounds I've had the honor and privledge to have known Doris for almost 10 years! Long story but these past ten years have been just wonderful! Her and her children and extended family and friends are just a joy to know! Doris and I had our little coffee get togethers that I will never forget! We talked about everything! Such an easy woman to talk to! I wish I known her the time I should of known her but let me tell everyone this the time that I did know her were so special!! I'm going to miss that thunderous laugh and that cuddly hugs and kisses! The kind and generous heart! Thank u Doris for making these past ten years so special to me! I will see u again and remember to always have the coffee cream for me! Love u my special and dear cousin! Love Tony DeDominicis!!
