Doris Moysan Fulcher

Doris Moysan Fulcher, 90, died peacefully at her home on March 28, 2026. Doris was the son of the late Elmer Lee Payne and Mary Payne Moysan. She was born in China Grove, NC on January 25, 1936. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Bill Fulcher and brother Barry Moysan. She is survived by her son, Joel Fulcher and his wife, Kecia, brothers Bob Lisk and Jim Moysan, three grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Doris graduated from Landis High School in 1953 in Landis, NC.

Doris enjoyed traveling with her husband Bill and seeing the works of nature. She also enjoyed singing, gardening and raising flowers. Her favorite flower was the rose. She liked to wear anything that had purple in it, her favorite color.

In 1953, Doris was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She devoted her life to helping others to come to know the Creator, Jehovah God. Doris was married to her husband Bill for 71 years. Over 60 of those years were spent in the full-time ministry. They spent 18 years traveling and visiting congregations in Alabama, Georgia, SC, NC, Virginia, Maryland, Pennsylvania and Washington, DC.

During her 60 plus years of service, Doris was able to conduct many Bible studies, helping others to the point of dedicating their lives to Jehovah as well. She did this faithfully to the very end of her life.

Memorial Service for Doris Fulcher will be held Saturday, April 11 2:00 pm at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 3411 Old Concord Road, Salisbury, NC 28146.
