Doris Livingston Goss

I loved Mrs. Goss. I met her only once and that is all it took. In March of 2001, Blane and I were hiking the Appalachian Trail from Woody Gap to Neels Gap about a 11-mile section. Blane and I stayed at her cabin in Cleveland, GA, so we could get a head start on the AT the next morning. Mrs. Goss was gracious enough to drive us not only to the start of the trail, but to pick us up the next day. She was so pleasant and fun to talk to. What a great memory of her.
