Doris I. Goss, 87, of Central Square, went on to join her husband and son on Sunday, February 08, 2026.

Visitation will be held at Watson Funeral Home in Central Square, NY, on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM, with a concluding service at 1:00PM

Doris was born in Syracuse on December 18, 1938. She married Charles Goss and worked various jobs over the years, including waitressing.

Doris was a well-known and well-loved part of her community. She was said to have a 'heart of gold', and she never met a stranger.' Besides volunteering at the United Methodist Church, she was also a member of the Central Square American Legion. In her free time, Doris loved to do puzzles, play cards, crochet, and go to bingo with her friends.

Predeceasing Doris is her husband of over 40 years; Charles Goss, her son; Emmerson Goss, her grandson; Danny Ellis and her brothers; George Leonard, Hank Leonard and Raleigh Leonard.

She is survived by her children; Helen Goss, Charles F. (Paula) Goss, Annalisa (Dan) Mckee, Doris "Dodie" Goss and Joelyn (Bobby) Lindsey, her siblings; Pearl Bellinger and Eddie Leonard, and a legacy of grandchildren, great grandchildren and even great-great grandchildren, as well as extended family and friends.
