I only knew Doris after she was ill, but her sweet, loving, and peaceful spirit came through even when she couldn't talk. The devotion of Richard and sons visiting her at TVAR was wonderful to see.Richard, we're already missing you at TVAR.

When I first met you in June 2013, your first words to me were "You're Ronnie's wife". Only a mother knows when her son has found the right one. I thank you Mommie Hackett for giving birth to your second son Ronnie and for the love of the Hackett Family. I promise to keep your memory alive in our home and to be there for Ronnie for the rest of my life!

My "Mom"was an Heavenly Angel on earth. She had many layers all geared to the loving care of family and a ready smile for evereryone. I had the honor of sharing wonderful memorable times with her and Pop. Examples- I'd pack a bag and spend weekends with them when I was active duty. Some Sundays after church we'd go to Boston Market for family dinner filled with laughter and warm conversations. A snack Mom loved was bananas, often she'd wrap one in a paper towel and later share with me with a loving smile.Our closeness existed even after I relocated to Nc, we shared our close ties. Thank you Lord for this awesome women of God, who was like a mother to me.
