Doris M. Halleran

Doris M. Halleran, 99, of Audubon, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully in her home on February 3, 2026, with family by her side.

Born on August 22, 1926, Doris witnessed nearly a century of history, and throughout each decade, she desired to adapt to the times. A graduate of Olney High School, she grew up with a passion for horseback riding and creating art. Her professional life reflected her versatility, from her work as a switchboard operator at TV Guide to her years working with computers at Sears.

Doris was defined by her remarkable independence, her positivity and her perseverance. She lived life on her own terms, staying in her home and navigating modern technology with ease. Doris was an avid reader, loved to play games, and faithfully cheered for her Philadelphia Eagles each week.

Above all, Doris was devoted to her family. She was married to the love of her life, Roy J. Halleran, for 67 years and the beautiful life they built together served as an inspiration to everyone who knew them. She took immense pride in watching her family grow and always looked forward spending time with loved ones.

She was predeceased by her parents, Jack and Katharine Hallman; her sister, Kathryn Birnbrauer; her beloved husband, Roy J. Halleran; and her son, Roy T. Halleran.

Her legacy lives on through her daughter, Cindy Lewis; her daughter-in-law, Leslee Halleran; her grandchildren, Pamela, Matthew, Sarah, and Gregory; and her great-grandchildren, Sophia, Annabelle, Charlie, and Ollie, all of whom will miss her strength, her stories and her laughter dearly.

The family will be holding a private memorial service to honor her life and legacy.
