TRIMONT: A Service of Remembrance for Doris Ann Huber, age, 85, of Trimont, MN, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2025 at the Kramer Family Funeral Home Chapel in Trimont, MN. Burial will be in Elm Creek Cemetery in rural Trimont, Minnesota.
Doris passed away Friday Morning, May 23, 2025, at Temperance Lake Ridge in Sherburn, Minnesota. Visitation will be from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 31 at the Kramer Family Funeral Home in Trimont.
Doris Ann Handevidt was born on August 27, 1939 to Earl and Viola (Kable) Handevidt on a farm near Jackson, Minnesota. She received her education in rural country school in Kimball Township. Doris then attended Triumph-Monterey High School later graduating with the class of 1957. On December 7, 1958 she was united in marriage to Wayne Huber at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Kimball Township. After their marriage they lived on various farms in rural Trimont and raised their family later moving into Trimont. Doris was employed at the Trimont School.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Ron (Jill) Hattan of Hurican, Utah, Douglas (Mary) Huber of rural Trimont, Barbara Howorth of Stillwater, Minnesota, Kathy Sodeinde of Crystal, Minnesota and Sherri Ross of Duluth, Minnesota; daughter-in-law, DeeDee Huber of North Branch, Minnesota; four grandchildren, Alicia, Danielle, Olayinka and Alex; three great-grandchildren, Colton, Tyler and Rylen; sisters, Alice Koen of Estherville, Iowa and sister-in-law, Sylvia Handevidt of Fairmont, Minnesota; nieces and nephews and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband, Wayne Huber; son, Curtis Huber; daughter, Beverly Ann Martin; sister-in-law, Ramona Sorenson; two brothers, Dale and Vernon Handevidt and other relatives.
