Doris Johnson Obituary
She was born in Bolivar County, MS, and moved to Darlove, MS at an early age. She graduated from Hollandale Public School. Doris worked as a clerk at Sanders Pharmacy for many years. On January 9, 1953, she married James Johnson, and they made their home in Greenville. In 2014, she moved to Water Valley to live with her son.
She is survived by her daughter, Pat Teague; son, Gary Johnson; four grandchildren, James Worbington, Brandy Worbington, Branson Teague, and Crystal Johnson; three great-grandchildren, Kaleb Brown, Joshu Worbington, and Courtney Worbington; and three great-great-grandchildren, Kestin, Olivia, and Ava.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2005, as well as two sisters, Frances Knight and Patsy Hemphill, and a brother, Marion "Spud" Hartley.
