Oh sweet Doris, you´re finally with your husband again. When you asked me Monday when god was going to make you better again I said soon, because he knew you were tired. He did just that, that brings me comfort and peace. I was looking forward to hearing your sweet voice Friday but unfortunately that´s not what happened when I walked in your door. I will remember you the way you were every time I walked in your room, smiling and excited to see me. Your kind words and sarcastic humor made my day. I´ve never had a 95 year old woman ask me to be their girlfriend until I met you.

Thank you for allowing me to care for you in your final days.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of God, family and friends. Please take comfort in the words found at 2nd Thessalonians 2:16,17.
