Doris L. Manogue

Doris L. Manogue, age 100, of "Oak Valley" Deptford Twp. NJ passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2024. Born in Philadelphia, PA to the late John Dell and Emma (nee Reinhard), she graduated from Kensington High School Class of 1943. Upon graduating, she began working at First Union Bank as a teller and later for the PTC. When her children were young she was a homemaker. She later worked part time at Atlantic Thrift, Kmart in the cafe and finished her career as a lunchroom aide at Oak Valley and Harrison Township Elementary schools. She was a long-time member of Holy Nativity Lutheran Church and Oak Valley Senior Club. In her spare time, she enjoyed sewing, decorating her home, dancing, cooking and spending time with family.
She is survived by her children, Gary Manogue & his wife Eileen of Woodbury, NJ, and Kimberly Theriault & her husband Richard of West Deptford, NJ; grandchildren, Kristin (Joe), Erin, Kelsey (Pablo), Claudia and Natalie; great grandchildren, Margaux, Geneva, Zara and Sol and many loving nieces and nephews and dear friends. Doris was predeceased by her siblings, Lillian, Ethel, Violet, Gloria, Florence, John, Harry, Howard and sister-in-law Florence.
Family & Friends may visit from 9:30 am to 11 am on Thursday, September 5th at Holy Nativity Lutheran Church, 3 Lenape Trail, Wenonah, NJ 08090 where a service will be held at 11 am. Interment will follow in Woodbury Memorial Park. As an expression of sympathy, contributions can be made to Holy Nativity Lutheran Church 3 Lenape Trail, Wenonah, NJ 08090.
