Doris Elaine Owens

Auntie Doris was an elegant lady. She surprised me when she showed me how adept she was with handwork. We shared knitting patterns and her work was magnificent! She was so excited to show me her baby sweater pattern. She was deeply nostalgic and kind, but also forward thinking and intelligent. We miss her.

Auntie Doris was a wonderful, caring woman who was active in her church and her community. She was highly intelligent and creative and she had a great sense of humor. I will miss the phone calls and visits in her home. She made the world a better place. Rest now and be at peace.
