Doris Powell Obituary
Mrs. Powell was the daughter of the late Johnny and Clara Partridge. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church of Cleveland. Throughout the years Doris held many jobs including serving alongside her husband in ministry as a faithful pastor's wife and church secretary.
In addition to her parents Mrs. Powell is preceded in death by her husband Rev. Henry Powell and children, Michael and Susan Powell.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law Linda (Bob) Hightower; granddaughters, Lara Cook, Emily (Jody) Abercrombie, grandson, Matthew Hightower, great grandchildren, Jaron Jordan (Bethany), Benjamin Jordan (Ozioma), Adan Machen (Alex), Margaret Limbaugh (Michael), Jacob Warren (Taylor), Sarah Abercrombie, Kendall Hightower, great-great grandchildren, Henry Warren, Charlotte Mae Limbaugh.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 3, 2026, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Barrett Funeral Home. The Rev Dennis Turner and Rev. Doug Merck will officiate. Interment will be in Yonah View Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 12 until 2 PM
