Doris Constance Puskarich

Doris Constance "Connie" Puskarich, 79, of Washington, died Sunday, August 18, 2024, while in the loving care of her husband in Washington. She was born January 29, 1945, in Monongahela, a daughter of the late Albert Richard and Doris Idell Weinzen. Connie was a 1962 graduate of Bentleyville High School and worked at the Social Security Administration until she retired in 2000. In her free time, Connie enjoyed gardening, touring old homes, drawing, stained glass, and she was a master gardener and a member of the Martha Washington Garden Club. She was a caring mother and loved her three grandchildren with all of her heart. On August 24, 1963, in Bentleyville, Connie married the love of her life, Robert F. Puskarich, who survives her. Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Loretta A. (Matthew) Riley of West Chester; a brother, Rick (Judy) Weinzen of Bentleyville; two sisters, Patty Bradwell of Gloversville, N.Y., and Debra (Brad) Naddeo of Bentleyville; three grandchildren, Jordan, Paige and Sean Riley; and several nieces and nephews. Deceased is a brother, Robert Weinzen. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, August 21, in the Piatt and Barnhill Funeral Home, 420 Locust Avenue, Washington. A funeral liturgy will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, August 22, in Saint Hilary Church of Saint James Parish, 320 Henderson Avenue, Washington, PA 15301. Interment will follow in Washington Cemetery.
