Joyce Funeral Home - WalthamNashua, New Hampshire - Doris B. (Caissie) Robichaud, formerly of Waltham, died Wednesday, November 5, 2025. She was 97.
Doris was born in Grande-Digue, New Brunswick, Canada on October 27, 1928 one of nine children of the late Azor and Delina (Poirier) Caissie. Raised and educated in Canada she immigrated to the United States. She was married to her husband, Alcide of 52 years until his death on February 13, 2003. Residents of Waltham for many years Doris moved to Nashua, New Hampshire to be closer to her daughters.
In addition to her husband, Alcide, she was predeceased by her siblings, Louis, Paul and Jerry Caissie, Geneva Embrault and Alma Serada and by her son-in-law, Doug St. Arneault; her best friend and aunt, Lina Poirier.
She leaves her daughters, Pauline A. Robichaud of Nashua, NH and Janice Watts (Raymond) of Nashua, NH; her grandchildren, Jody McGill (Kate Saltus), Michelle Shaw and Daniel Parent (Jennifer); her great-grandchildren, Cory, Cade, Shelby, Cullen, Jake, Luke, Zack, Brooklyn, Jaxson, Tanner and Noah; her siblings, Angela Bourque, Yolande Poirier and Norman Caissie, all in Canada; nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor Doris’ life by gathering on Monday, November 24 th in Sacred Heart Church, 311 River Street, Waltham, where her funeral Mass celebrated at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount Feake Cemetery, Waltham. There are no calling hours.
