Doris Jean (Slater) Rodgers passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 20th, 2023 in The Villages, FL. Formerly of Pittsburgh, PA and Juno Beach, FL. Beloved wife of the late Raymond J. Slater Jr. and Richard B. Rodgers. Loving Mother of Sheryl M. (Late Norm) Morgan, Raymond J. III (Sharon) Slater, Jill M. (Steve) Cummings, William Slater II, (Stephanie), Step Mother of Richard B. (Diane) Rodgers, Donald (Monika) Rodgers, late David (surviving spouse Sandy) Rodgers, late Bobby (surviving spouse Pam) Rodgers, Grandma Dee to Erin, Jennifer, Tiffany, Jessica, RJ IV, Stephen, Casey, Ellie, Grant, Sydney and Wes. Also Grandma Dee to 14 Rodgers Grand Children. Also survived by 18 1/2 Great Grand Children and 1 Great Great Grand Son. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in Florida on Friday, April 28, 2023 in 4505 Okahumpka Run, Wildwood, FL 34785. Entombment Mt. Lebanon Cemetery (Pittsburgh, PA). Contributions may be made to: Billy Graham Evangelistic Association or a Church of you choice. Arrangements entrusted to WILLIAM SLATER II FUNERAL SERVICE (412-563-2800).
