Doris was special in that she possessed the ability to take care of business when intended and just as quick exhibit that wonderful smile. She will be missed. God bless. JD Quinn

So sorry that Doris lost the battle for her life. We have had no connection with Doris for over 50 years but I will always remember my school years with Doris. She had such a strong and honest personality! I was especially pleased to see her son did the funeral service. Prayers for your healing.

I wish I had spent more time with you, like when I was young and pappa was still here... Its still so hard for me to believe that your both gone... I'm gonna miss you Memaw. Now you can be with pappa again, I know that that's what you wanted, to be reunited. Please make sure he knows how much I love him, and miss him more than anything in this world.

I remember Doris as a teenager. She was a kind, friendly person to everyone. She was the prettiest girl in school. I am so so sorry for the family's loss.

I Love you Aunt Doris and I will always remember you with the best memories of what a wonderful person you were. I always loved you and always knew that you belonged with our family because you fit so perfectly in. My memories of you will always be of you smiling and with a fishing pole in hand. Thank you for all the love you always showed me, the guidance and care you always offered and the laughs you always gave me growing up watching you cut up with my Uncle Gary. I know that you have joined Uncle Gary and the rest of the family, just as it should be and I know that Heaven is an even brighter place with you up there. I can only imagine the Reunion at your arrival. I also feel safer knowing that you are now there in Heaven to help watch over my Son until I hopefully can also one day join you all. My only regret is that I didn't get to see you or visit you again before you left us and the last time I saw you in Texas, We were leaving and I didn't even get to visit with you. We always think or believe that we will have a next time when we all know that just may not be so. I'll always regret that Aunt Doris .Even though I didn't get to see you as often as I would have liked too, I Love you, I always have and I will miss you badly. But, I know you are now at Home and free and happy as you so deserve to be. God Speed to you Aunt Doris, until we meet again.
All of my thoughts, Love, &Prayers to Lori, Ronnie, Stephanie, Josh and the other family members. I will be praying and thinking of you all.
