Peacefully on August 19, 2025, surrounded by family, Doris Emily Squires passed away at home. Born in Bedford County, PA on December 26, 1947 to the late Beulah Emily Hoffman (Mack) and Charles Oyler Hoffman; beloved wife of the late Alfred Lee Squires, Sr.; dear sister of Beverly Giles, Mary Jane Hoffman, Gary Hoffman, Allan Hoffman, Donald Hoffman, Ronald Hoffman, and her late baby brother; loving mother of Alfred Squires Jr. and his wife Roberta Squires, Danny Squires, Michael Squires, Sr., Sharon Fleetwood and her husband Edward Fleetwood, and Cheryl Squires; cherished grandmother of Christine Squires, Michelle Squires, Alfred Squires, III, Jessica Murray, Destiny Squires, Michael Squires, Jr., Nicole Fielders, and many great grandchildren. Doris is also survived by many other family members and friends.
Relatives and friends may gather in our Lansdowne location on Friday from 3-5 and 7-9PM and Saturday from 11AM- 1PM where a funeral service will take place at 1PM.
