Doris Rose Tecker

DORIS ROSE TECKER- LOVING WIFE, MOTHER, NANA, GREAT NANA, AND FRIEND.
Doris R. Tecker, 82 of Berkley MI, passed away peacefully on September 28th, 2023. She was born on August 25th, 1941, in Detroit to Anthony and Antoinette Leo. She graduated from St. Rita's High School, and during that time, she met her husband, Gilbert L. Tecker. They married on October 1st, 1960, had three children, and spent a wonderful sixty-three years of marriage together.
Family was the focus of Doris's life. She was mother to Lisa (Brian) Zilli, the late Michelle Rimatzki, and Dawn (Paul) Mazzetti. She was nana to Tyler (Kaitlyn), Jacob, Troy (Megan), Hunter (Lindsey), Gage (Alexis), Brian, Jenna, Justin, and Breanna. She was great nana to Viviana, Marco, Alessia, Henry, and Milana. She was the sister of Yvonne (late), Diane (late), Roy, and Alan (late). She was also a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Her greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her family. Whether it was poolside, attending her grandchildren's sporting events, or celebrating the holidays, she was always in her glory. Her greatest satisfaction was making sure her family and friends always had plenty to eat and drink. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
