She was a caring and friendly lady with more energy then most. She helped
to keep the family together and did
good things for people we will never hear about. She was a wonderful and loving grandmother and mother to mine.
She will be missed.
Wish I could be there.

Dr. & Mrs. Thrift were dear friends of the Terrell family. Doris was so upbeat and most friendly to me. I remember her coming to my house on Berkshire Rd. and giving me Tony perms, she visited me in the hospital when I had back surgery and was so supportive. A lovely lady, who will certainly be mised.

We will miss Mrs. Thrift's warm and friendly personality. She always told our family how much she loved us.

I was so sorry to hear of Mrs. Thrift's death. She and Dr. Thrift were good friends of my parents (Bob and Mildred Terrell). I will remember her as a truly lovely Southern lady who always had a smile. When she learned that Suzanne and I were both living in the Boston area she was so pleased that we had that Richmond connection.

So sorry for your loss. As a volunteer at Lakewood Manor, I enjoyed getting to know Mrs. Thrift. I am also a member of FPC, but had not made that connection until now. Thinking of you and your family during this difficult time.
