Doris F. Walter

Doris F. Walter, 75, of Beaver Dam passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Crossroads Care Center in Mayville. A gathering and memorial service will be held at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home in Beaver Dam on Thursday, June 14, 2018. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. Memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. Doris was born the daughter of Lester and Paula (Steinbach) Gross on November 6, 1942 in Beaver Dam. She was married to Roger D. Walter on September 29, 1974 in Milwaukee. Doris was employed as a Lutheran school teacher, librarian, and later, owning and operating a home cleaning business. Doris was a member of Harbor Missionary Church in the Beaver Dam area. She will be remembered as a devoted Christian wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and friend who will be missed by many. Doris is survived by her husband, Roger of Beaver Dam; her daughter, Charity (Herman) Mittag of Beaver Dam; two grandchildren: Michael and Serena Mittag of Beaver Dam; her brother, Dennis (Sandy) Gross of Garland, TX; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-father, Martin Seefeldt.
