Peyton and Pat are thinking of you daily, missing you every time we walk in our church. We were so blessed to have you as a part of our lives. You were always an angel to us and now you are a heavenly angle.

I am deeply sad to hear of Doris' passing....We met at a Happy Yoga class some years ago at the East Point Library...we became friends and she joined The Friends of East Point Library and became our secretary for two years. We also had classes at the HJC Bowden Center. I would take her home after meetings and classes. She donated art to our book sales. We shared stores about our families. We will miss her smile and caring heart.

Doris was a delightful lady. She was soft spoken and greeted you with a warm smile.
Doris shared her talents and did not hesitate to help.
My granddaughter was going to be Thurgood Marshall for Black History month about nine years ago. I asked for her help to make a judicial robe. Without hesitation she said certainly. My grand was proud as she looked the part with the black framed glasses, her hair pulled back, and the robe that fit perfectly.
Doris did beautiful crochet work. I tried to teach myself, but again, leaned on Doris for some tutoring. I didn't quite keep with it after a few completed projects.
I'm so blessed that Doris was my friend.
I will miss her.
My condolences to the family and friends who loved her.
