Doris Mary Wirth (Seefeldt), 91, entered eternal life on December 4, 2025. Born on September 15, 1934, in Milladore, Wisconsin, Doris lived a long and beautiful life marked by kindness, dedication, and a deep love for family. She spent most of her adult years in Milwaukee before residing at Three Pillars Riverside Lodge Memory Care during her final three years.
Doris was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerome “Jerry” Wirth. She is survived by her two loving children, Michael (Diane) Wirth and Renee (Scott) Pompe; and by her three cherished grandchildren, Wesley, Lacey, and Carter Pompe, who brought her great joy.
A lifelong educator, Doris began her teaching career in a one-room schoolhouse in Milladore before moving to Milwaukee, where she taught first grade in the New Berlin Public School District. She devoted 36 years to shaping young minds, sharing warmth, patience, and enthusiasm with every child who entered her classroom. After retirement, she found happiness spending her winters on Pensacola Beach, Florida.Doris will be laid to rest beside her husband, Jerry, at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove, Wisconsin.
A private family memorial service will be held for her at Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Her family extends heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate caregivers at Three Pillars Memory Care and Allay Hospice for the comfort and dignity they provided. Memorial donations in her honor may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Doris will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her gentle spirit, sense of humor, patience, kindness, and the love she gave so unconditionally. We are comforted that she is “home” with Jerry and her mother, Josephine whom she often asked for. We are thankful that she now has all her memories back!
