Mrs. Demetria Lira Sosa

Demetria Lira Sosa, 79, born in Sugar Land, Texas, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Macario Ovalle Sosa; her mother and father, Nicandra and Merced Lira; her brothers and sisters, Juana, Manuel, Ilaria, Maria Lidia, Feliciano, Amador, Petra, Mariquita, and Pedro. Demetria is survived by her sons and daughter, Jesus, Macario Jr., and Maria Soledad; her step daughters and step son, Aurora, Maria Leonor, and Pedro; numerous nephews and nieces, and 6 grandchildren. Demetria was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Visitation will be held at Crespo Funeral Home, 2516 Navigation Blvd. Houston, Tx. 77003, on Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010 from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. A Rosary will be recited that evening at 7:00 P.M. A Catholic Mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2010, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 2405 Navigation, Houston, Tx. 77003. Interment will follow at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery.
