Dorothy Ball Obituary
She was born on September 25, 1937, in Lebanon, VA but has called Westmoreland County home for the last 40 years. Dorothy enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She loved to sing in her church and with her many friends.
While she will be missed by those she leaves behind, Dorothy is preceded in death by her mother and father, 3 brothers, her daughter Voetta Hayes and her husband Henderson Ball.
Dorothy is survived by her children, Wanda Davis (Larry), Helen Carneal, Robert Ball (Anna), Debbra Ball (Anthony), 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren as well as 5 sisters, 4 brothers and cherished friends.
Due to the icy conditions we have had recently, the service for Dorothy will now be held at Welch Funeral Home- Marks Chapel in Warsaw on Friday, January 30, 2026, at 1:00 pm. Her family invites visitors the hour preceding the service. Dorothy will be interred at Washington Memorial Park in Sandston, VA at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Currioman Baptist Church, 2383 Zacata Rd, Montross, VA 22520.
