Dorothy Bell Davis McKnight, 87, of Mason, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a retired factory worker with Universal Electric.
Dorothy loved to garden in her spare time and attended the Mason Cowboy Church.
She is survived by her two children, Debbie Lynn (Rusty) Johnson and Tony Hazlerig; two grandsons, Dustin (Michelle) Johnson and John (Carley) Johnson; five great grandchildren, Halie Johnson, Braden Johnson, Mac Johnson, Charlee Johnson and Tatom Johnson; one great great grandchild, Blakelee Williams; her step-children, Katie (Doug) Rickard and Andy (Anita) McKnight and two step grandchildren, Zach (April) Rickard and Colton McKnight.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence B. and Margaret Lucretia Bacon Davis; eight siblings, Mary Estridge, Ann Mills, Retta Rickard, Peggy Beard, Harold Davis, Winston Davis, Russell Davis and Bo Bo Davis and her husbands, John T. Hazlerig, who she was married to from 1962 until his passing in 1983 and Bobby McKnight, who she was married to from 1988 until his passing in 2023.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 5 at the Covington Funeral Home chapel with interment to follow in Davis Cemetery in Braden. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the Davis Cemetery. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Dorothy Bell Davis McKnight, please visit our floral store.
