Dorothy V. Bloom, 88, of Hamburg, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on February 13, 2026, after a sudden illness. She was born on July 4, 1937 in Boston, New York, and grew up there.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband Albert in 1994.
She is survived by her three children Arlene Bloom (John), Gail (Gene) Burns, and Randy (Christine) Bloom. Grandchildren include Cory, Zachary, Chad, Randy Jr., Troy, Amy, and Shane. Great-grandchildren are Leo, Lincoln, and a baby coming soon. Dorothy is further survived by sisters Patricia and Joanne.
No visitation will be held per the wishes of Dorothy. Private burial of ashes will be at Saint John’s Cemetery in Boston. The Lombardo Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
