Dorothy Bryant Obituary
Dorothy Shuler was born on December 22, 1953 in Donalsonville, Georgia to OJ and Sarah Mary-Jane Smith Shuler. She was the second of three children.
She was a "power mom", a private housekeeper, and a companion sitter until her illness confined her to home.
Dorothy departed this life on Thursday, May 9, 2024 at home in Montgomery, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, OJ and Sarah Mary-Jane Smith Shuler, her husband John Paul Bryant, Sr., one son John Paul Bryant, Jr., one brother Al J. Shuler, one sister Mary Virgin and a loving significant other Joeseph W. Alday.
She leaves to cherish her memories: three daughters, Doris (John) Powell, Jackie (Antonio) Bryant, Sarah (Mike) Bryant; one sister, Rosemary (Charles) Allen, and one brother, Felton Wyatt; four granddaughters, Sherlisa (Garrett) Daniels, Harmony Walker, Amaya Walker, and Kailani Medina; seven grandsons, Gary Daniels, Jr., Rontavis Daniels, Javius (Robyn) Powell, Deon Richardson, Andre Richardson, Joseph Alday, and Zachariah Jones. A host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews, relatives and friends.
