Mrs. Dorothy "Dink" Transou Bryant, 93, passed away Wednesday, December 24, 2025. She was born October 7, 1932 to the late Russell and Jettie Carter Transou. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Harold Johnson "Dusty" Bryant; her sister, Agnes Hayes; her brothers, Turner Transou, Bob Transou, and Frank Transou. Mrs. Bryant was a longtime member of Fall Creek Baptist Church. She loved her family and Duke basketball. Mrs. Bryant kept an exceptionally clean home and she always made sure her husband and her son looked their best. She is survived by her son, Harold Tod (Becky) Bryant; granddaughter, Kathryn Leah Bryant; sisters-in-law, Grace (Max) Bryant Reinhardt, Stacie Bryant Miller; and many nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends, Monday, December 29, 2025 at Fall Creek Baptist Church from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. A funeral service will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM with Rev. Don Hudson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to give a special thank you to Dorothy's caregiver Sharon Jackson for the exceptional care and love given to Dorothy and her family.
