Dorothy Bush, born on December 4, 1935, in Belvidere, Illinois, passed away on November 12, 2025. Known for caring nature, Dorothy brought warmth and kindness to everyone she met.
In her younger years, Dorothy was an avid tennis player and a skilled snow skier. She had a passion for travel that took her to many beautiful places. In her leisure time, Dorothy enjoyed knitting, reading, and solving word puzzles, activities that showcased both her creativity and her love for mental challenges.
Dorothy was also an accomplished painter and sculptor, taking pride in her artistic talents which brought joy to her and those around her.
Dorothy leaves behind her loving family, including her daughter Karen Bloodgood(Chris Frank)(former Sam), her stepchildren Nancy Bush, Brad Bush, and Betsy Jones, as well as her cherished grandchildren Leah, Sammy, and Cassie. She is also survived by her sibling, Shuzz.
Dorothy is predeceased by her husband Edwin, her son Mark, and her sisters Marjorie and Marilyn.
Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of her family and friends, who will remember her vibrant spirit and the love she shared throughout her life.
