Dorothy O. Carlucci was born on April 22, 1924 in Los Banos, California to Joseph and Josephine Orlando, and christened at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church.

She was one of nine children raised by her mother who was widowed shortly after the birth of her last child. Dorothy attended Los Banos Public Schools; in grammar school she met Carl Carlucci, who became the love of her life. During WWII she worked in the office at Eagle Field and also took flying lessons, which she thoroughly enjoyed, but her duties were elsewhere. After the war she and Carl were married at the old Saint Joseph's Church in Los Banos; they had a long and deeply loving marriage, and a large circle of close friends active with them in many community and church social groups. In 1966 they moved to Modesto, California and to the parish of Our Lady of Fatima. Dorothy worked in the Catechism classes at OLF for many years, and both were active in parish life; Dorothy was a charter member of the OLF Seniors group, a very active Chair, committee member, and recruiter. These ties were a great support for Dorothy when Carl passed away in 1998. She kept busy as President and foot-soldier, and outlived three generations of Seniors.

Dorothy is survived by her two sons, Carlo (1947) and Gary (1955), and their children and grandchildren, and by a multitude of friends whom she made a part of her extended family.
