Dorothy L. Clemens
(nee Love)
Went to heaven suddenly at St. Joseph Hospital, Sunday, October 12, 2025 at the age of 85 years. Survived by her children William (Ann) Clemens, Steven Clemens, David Clemens and Lori Clemens. Sixteen grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Also several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Lester and Helen Love, her son Donald Clemens (2000), three sisters Lillian Staes, Florence Fronek, Esther Teitle and her brother James Love. Dorothy was born July 19, 1940 in Joliet. She graduated from Joliet township High School Class of 1958, where she excelled in swimming, cheerleading, violin, dancing, choir member and Sunday school teacher Dorothy was the office manager for United Way of Will County for many years. Prior to that she was with Besley Reality and ET Reality of Joliet. Member of First Presbyterian Church. Former Honor Queen of Job's Daughter Bethel #48. Dorothy will be missed by all who knew and loved her, rest in peace. Lying in State at First Presbyterian Church, 805 Western Ave., Wednesday, October 29th from 9:00 A.M. until services at 11:00 A.M. Rev. Bo Mircea officiating. Interment Elmhurst Cemetery. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Carlson-Holmquist-Sayles Funeral Home & Crematory.
