Dorothy Eileen (Rash) Davis was born October 11,1945 in Pendleton, Oregon and passed away peacefully on February 1, 2026 in The Dalles, Oregon.

The third of four children born to Harold and Mable Rash, she grew up on her family's dairy farm in Boardman Oregon and graduated Valedictorian of her class in 1963.

After graduating from Northwest School of Commerce in Portland Oregon, she met and married William Jack Getz on August 24th, 1964. They were married for 21years.

Together they raised three sons, Stanley, Steven and Scott in The Dalles Oregon.

Dorothy worked for First Interstate and Wells Fargo Bank in The Dalles and Hood River until she retired.

Dorothy married James M. Davis on July 30th, 1988. Married for 28 years, they enjoyed hiking, fishing the Deschutes River and traveling to Quartzsite, Arizona together until his death in 2016. Dorothy missed Jim a great deal and looked forward to being with him again one day.

Dorothy was a member of the First Christian Church in The Dalles and had a great abiding faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Mabel Rash, brother Darrel Rash, sister Elnora Penages and husband James Davis.

Dorothy is survived by her sister Diane Buchanan of Alaska, sons Stanley and his wife Holly Getz of The Dalles, Steven Getz of Texas, Scott Getz and his wife Serrina of Kentucky and stepson Jeff Davis and his wife Julie.

She is also survived by grandchildren Shelby and TJ Haguewood of Pendleton, Cadie and Jake Doherty of Pilot Rock, Matthew, Curtis and Dillon Getz of New Mexico, Kryslynn Rose Getz, and Tiffany McKenney of Kentucky, Jordan and Tiffany Davis, Janell and Jeff Hall, and Jaime and Brewster Whitmire all of The Dalles.

Great-Grand Children include Tatum and Decker Haguewood, Ronan and Maeve Doherty, AJ Getz, Jace and Parker Davis, Hunter and Henley Hall, and Brody and Tate Whitmire.

A memorial service will take for Dorothy will take place at 11:30 A.M. on March 7th, 2026 at First Christian Church (909 Court St, The Dalles, OR 97058).
