Dorothy De Piante Obituary
Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at Gordon Funeral Service, 1904 Lancaster Avenue, Monroe, NC 28112. The Holy Rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM.
A sung Requiem Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, May 23, 2024, in the Chapel of Gordon Funeral Service. Burial will follow the service in Waxhaw City Cemetery.
Dorothy is survived by her three sons: James Robert De Piante, and his wife, Kathleen; Vincent Joseph De Piante, and Robert Michael De Piante; two daughters: Anne Marie De Piante Henriksen, and Christine De Piante Lutz, and her husband, Gary; and twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, please consider having Masses offered for the repose of the souls of Robert and Dorothy De Piante.

My Family and I will always cherish memories of time spent with Dottie at a table, singing in choir with her conducting, praying the Rosary and going extra miles to attend the Tridentine Latin Mass together.
We extend sincerest condolences to the De Piante Family; in their loss, may Our Lady comfort them, and may Dottie enjoy forever the reward of having lived her Catholic Faith to an Heroic Degree.
