Dorothy "Dot" Dearinger

Dorothy "Dot" Dearinger, age 65 of Stockdale, passed away on August 19, 2025. Dot was born on January 22, 1960 in Texarkana, Texas to Alma Mae (Danner) Smith Wilmot and Aubrey Ennis Smith.

Dot is preceded in death by her father, her maternal and paternal grandparents, brothers, Harold, John H. and David Smith, and her great-grandson, Jamison Busby.

Survivors include her daughters, Shauna Busby and partner, Bean, and April Busby; son, Richard Dearinger and partner Erica; grandchildren, Brandon Busby, Bree Busby and partner Steven, Leah Dearinger, Brielle Barbee, Mariah Molina, and Joe Hernandez Jr.; great-grandchildren, Carrighan Busby, Cameron, Kennedy Busby, Benjamin Busby and Nick O'Kane; mother, Alma Wilmot; sisters, Mary Engler and husband Danny, Maggie Goodwin, and Marti Phelps; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will begin on Thursday, September 11, 2025 at 1 p.m. at Tres Hewell Mortuary Chapel followed by a memorial service celebrating Dot's life at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Tom Jones officiating.
